Vagisil screening tackle?

I was have irritation and discharge, and i was only just treated with bacterial vaginosis. bought the screening tools today to see if my ph was fruitless, it was 4.5, the lowest on the chart. And according to the utensils, it says if you hold irritataion and discharge with a 4.5 you COULD own a yeast infection, but if you have no irritation or symptoms you don't. Now how does thi generate any sense? It doesn't even tell me if i own anything for sure.. LOL!! I totally bought that thing thinking I be saving my self a trip to the Doctor... what a practical joke!! It pretty much told me maybe you hold one maybe you don't.. it be kind of pointless as I have to go to the Doctors simply to make sure anyways. Oh resourcefully we (you and I) wont be doing that again!.. :)
