Ways to shorten your length?

is there anyway other next birth control to shorten the length of your term? There is a vitamin out there that can abet, my Aunt uses it and has for 2 years immediately. She stops taking it during her period and after 3-4 days she starts to lift it again and her periods are pretty much gone the subsequent day or two. It also help with cramping/bloating. I can't remember what its call though, look it up on some vitamin shops (online) or go to your local vitamin store...
