Vaginal discharge during extent wearing a tampon?

I currently use ortho evracontraceptive patch, this being my patch free week i own a period. i put a tampon surrounded by earlier, and go to remove it there very soon and my underwear is REALLY damp beside clear fluid. what could this be?
