Unusual Period/Blood Concerns?

I have never have regular periods at adjectives, but for the past 1-2 weeks I own had to preserve a tampon in because of massively LIGHT bleeding... and I keep waiting for my spell to start. The blood seems abnormal to me though, brighter than usual so I know it must be "new" blood.
Well this morning, I was on my style to work (had put a tampon in 30 minutes earlier) and when I get to work I went straight to the bathroom and I have completely filled my tampon and bleed on my clothes. I assumed my length had started drastically heavily, but it's been 4 hours and within is BARELY anything on the new tampon.
