Unprotected sex followed by precipitate spell (heavy flow)?

My husband and I had sex on New Year's Eve and we usually use the verbs out method but didn't. We use the pull out because I'm past its sell-by date of birth control but we're not ready to start trying for kids even so. Anyways, he didn't pull out and yesterday I get my period 10 days impulsive. This period is heavier than anything I've ever experienced surrounded by the 11 years I've had it. The cramping is the worst too! Is at hand a chance that this is a form of a "miscarriage?" I'm 24 years prehistoric and very natural. It is unlikely it is a miscarriage. The egg would just in a minute be implanting if you have unprotected sex on new years eve. If you really believe it is a miscarriage see your Dr.
